Dr. Ally Nelson is a licensed physical therapist and board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist located in the Denver, CO. She is one of the 9% of therapists in the US who are specialized in orthopedics. She completed her residency training with Upstream Rehab Institute. Following her training she wanted to give back to the program by being a mentor for other residents and became a teaching assistant. She really enjoys strength training and furthered her education with becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well. She received her doctorate degree from University of Mary and completed her bachelors degree from the University of North Dakota.
She believes in retraining the body as a whole, and not just the area of discomfort. She has worked with patients of all ages and enjoys helping those make fitness a lifestyle. Exercise is medicine. Whether you want to start moving more, move again, or move better, she can help you find your inner athlete.

I believe a physical therapy journey is MORE than just getting out of pain, it’s about staying out of pain. This means becoming the STRONGEST version of yourself.
